Job Description

Job Title: Aesthetic Injector

Pay: $110,000 - $120,000

Job Overview: Provides a complete range of injectable and skincare procedures 

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care
  • Performs skin care procedures and treatments, including but not limited to: dermal fillers, neuromodulator injections, chemical peels, pre-and-post laser care, laser procedures
  • Maintains patient skin care records, consent forms and detailed documentation of treatment, products purchased, educational information and copies of personalized skin care regimens
  • Ensures the skin care room/area exhibits a comfortable and professional look and feel; maintains all equipment and furnishings
  • Maintains treatment rooms and workstations in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Maintains equipment for proper operation, including cleaning as suggested by manufacturer
  • Develops and maintains appropriate post-procedure skincare regimens
  • Takes patient history, and records the information in the patient’s chart
  • Promotion and Marketing
  • Coordinates with the manager to develop promotions and marketing plans
  • Develops and maintains relationships with potential referral sources
  • Promotes skin care services and products to patients
  • Participates in skin care procedures and practice marketing and promotional plans including: events, focus groups, seminars, community presentations, and advertisements

  • Maintains products inventory; submits new product order requests to Manager
  • Makes sure product cabinets are locked at all times
  • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations
  • Maintains patient confidentiality by following the HIPAA Compliance Plan established by the practice; releases PHI in accordance with the practice's HIPAA Compliance Plan, attends regular HIPAA training, maintains data security by refusing to share computer and other passwords, and reports all identified and suspected HIPAA violations to the Privacy Officer
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions
  • Attends annual training programs
  • Attends all regular meetings
  • Performs all other tasks and projects assigned by the Manager
Requirements:
  • Current Illinois Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • At least two years of experience injecting dermal filler and neuromodulators
  • Laser training and experience preferred
  • Good promotional skills, and an ability to recommend skin care products and procedures
  • Familiarity with cosmetic procedures offered by the practice, and a willingness to recommend them to skin care clients
  • Good communication skills and a customer service orientation
  • Neat, professional appearance
  • Comfortable using email and electronic medical records
  • Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor
