Job Title: Process Technician
 
Pay: $27 - $36 / hr
 
Job Overview: The Process Technician will be responsible for the setup and start process at a press, emphasizing optimal processing through loading the robot program.

Responsibilities: 

• Execute setup and start processes at a press, ensuring optimal processing by loading the robot program.
• Adhere to safety rules, including safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
• Master necessary areas of the quality system, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Set up new molds and create setup instructions.
• Perform Scientific mold studies and collaborate with Process Engineers.
• Conduct qualification studies, including FAT and SAT.
• Run Mold validations such as IQ/OQ/PQ and follow validation protocols.
• Understand Instrumented tooling, preferably Kistler or RJG.
• Programming IMM robots is preferred.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour shift schedule.
• Monitor jobs running in production and troubleshoot as needed.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers and tooling for continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of a two-year technical college program or a four-year university program in a related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience or accrued on-the-job training and experience.
• Completion of Set Up Technician Onboarding and Development Criteria.
• Fork truck and Lockout Tagout Certification.
• Plastics injection molding experience.
• Basic hydraulic, electrical, and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to program a core sequence on a tool.
