Title: Lab Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Naperville, IL

Pay: $18.00/hour

Job Description:

The Laboratory Technician will work both independently and with a small group to prepare and test oil, gas, etc. samples to determine their properties

Duties:

• Prepare and weigh samples for analysis
• Prepare solvents and other solutions
• Perform tests using Karl Fisher automated titrators
• Perform data entry of test results using Tiamo
• Ensure samples are numbered/labelled, based on results
• Troubleshoot and repair instruments as needed
• Perform with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a Manufacturing or Laboratory preferred, but not required
• Ability to work 2nd Shift with little supervision
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and change tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and dependable team-player
