As an Ink Technician I, you will be responsible for producing and quality-controlling ink products to meet the specific standards and requirements of our customers. This role requires a candidate who is safety-conscious, has strong attention to detail, and can ensure the highest quality output in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ink Production & Quality Control:

  • Mix and produce ink formulations according to established procedures and customer specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on inks to ensure they meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.
  • Make necessary adjustments to formulations to maintain consistency and quality.

• Housekeeping & Safety:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols, ensuring safe operations at all times.
  • Operate equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

• Material Handling:

  • Lift and handle materials, including 50-pound buckets, and safely move 500-pound drums using the appropriate handling equipment and standard procedures.

• Customer Interactions:

  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns regarding product quality or specifications.
  • Provide technical support as needed and build strong, professional relationships with on-site contacts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related industry, preferably in ink production or a similar manufacturing environment.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle large drums following safety protocols.
  • Capable of standing for long periods, as the role involves consistent movement and manual labor.

Additional Information

• Desired Pay Rate:

  • $20 per hour.

• Work Hours:

  • 11pm to 7am
